Bio: Eytan Bakshy is a director and research scientist at Meta, where he leads the Adaptive Experimentation team. Their work focuses on developing practical and robust methods for sequential experimentation for real-world applications. Eytan’s research interests include Bayesian optimization, Bayesian machine learning, multi-armed bandits, and active learning. Much of his work earlier has focused on the use of randomized experiments and causal inference in understanding social behavior, including influence and information diffusion in networks.
